Living My Muslim Faith in Utah
Lalah Ghotbi
Elementary Teacher
Lalah Ghotbi was born in Iran and immigrated to Utah when her husband started his PhD program at the University of Utah. While in Utah, she earned a second master's and certification to be a teacher. She now teaches elementary students. She is raising two children, a son, and a daughter. Lalah loves the beautiful mountains in Utah and the family-oriented environment. She wishes that more Utahans knew Muslims personally, rather than learning about extremists on the news and gaining an incorrect understanding.
