Step 4. Values Are Emotional

Reflect

Values drive how people live their lives and see the world. Values inform our sense of right and wrong and our sense of justice and morality. Reflect on your values and how you ranked yourself in Jonathan Haidt’s Moral Foundations Theory. Answer the following questions:

  1. What influenced you to create your values?
  2. How do you feel when your values are threatened? Why do you feel that way?
  3. Do you believe your values should be reflected in society? If so, how? If not, why?
